Growing up in South Korea’s demanding educational and work culture, Claire led a largely sedentary lifestyle for decades. Incorporating Pilates into her daily routine transformed her life: improving her posture, gaining a deeper understanding of body mechanics that lead her to feel strong, lengthened and nourished into every day. She enjoys sharing her knowledge about anatomically and functionally correct movement through Pilates and she is a passionate practitioner of what she preaches!

Claire is a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and a graduate of the Pilates from the Center’s Advanced Teacher Training Program, where she completed over 850 hours of Classical Pilates teacher training under the watchful eyes of Matilda Christensen and Veronica McClurg.

Claire believes that mastering fundamentals and consistent practice are essential for meaningful change. She is committed to ongoing education and is excited to integrate new insights into her teaching, aiming to deepen clients’ understanding of their bodies and to empower them to reach their full potential.

You will often find Claire hiking or paddle-boarding around the beautiful North Shore. She is passionate about exploring diverse movement practices with a recent interest in cross-fit training. Claire also loves spending her time in the kitchen crafting wholesome yet delicious recipes. She is always on the lookout for new ways to stay active and inspired.
